READER SCRIPT THE "BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA" IS DELIVERING A STRONG ANTI-TOBACCO MESSAGE TO TEENS--USING THE "RIGHT DECISIONS, RIGHT NOW: BE TOBACCO-FREE"-PROGRAM, TO EDUCATE THEM ON THE DANGERS OF TOBACCO-USE. THIS YEAR ALONE, ABOUT 21-THOUSAND SCOUTS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM, AT THE "PHILMONT SCOUT-RANCH" IN NEW MEXICO. THE ORGANIZATION USES "RIGHT DECISIONS, RIGHT NOW" AS PART OF ITS "TRAIL OF COURAGE"-PROGRAM, TO TEACH BOYS HOW TO LEAD A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE--BECAUSE IT SPEAKS TO TEENS IN A WAY THAT MAKES SENSE TO THEM. IT ALSO EDUCATES THEM ABOUT SELF-ESTEEM, AND WAYS TO SAY "NO". THE "BOY SCOUTS" IS VERY PLEASED WITH ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH "RIGHT DECISIONS, RIGHT NOW"--AND IT BELIEVES THAT IT REALLY IS HELPING TO REDUCE YOUTH TOBACCO-USE. THIS EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE ONLINE--FREE OF CHARGE--TO EDUCATORS, PARENTS, AND YOUTH-FOCUSED COMMUNITY-GROUPS. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT "RIGHT-DECISIONS-RIGHT-NOW"-DOT-COM.
