Most audio on RadioSpace™ is currently available in the following formats:
- MP3 (at 48 kbps) or, in some older cases, mp3PRO (at 56 kbps);
- Ogg Vorbis (at 32 kbps VBR);
- MPEG-4/AAC-encoded QuickTime (at 64 kbps);
- and Windows Media Audio 9.2 (at 48 kbps).
All audio should be in 16-bit mono, with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz.
Please note that some browsers have direct, native support for playing more of these formats than others; for the broadest support on Windows, using either Firefox or Opera is recommended.
If you want to edit an audio file, try one of these recommended editor programs for Windows:
- Audacity,
- GoldWave,
- Sound Forge from Magix,
- or Adobe Audition.
You can obviously use other editors, including for Macintosh, Linux, and other platforms. Since the use of our reports is unrestricted, you can edit them as you like!
