MANY ASSUME THAT YOUNG PEOPLE, TODAY, HAVE A LOT TO LEARN--WHEN IT COMES TO MANAGING MONEY.  HOWEVER, THE REALITY IS THAT MOST COLLEGE-STUDENTS, IN THE U-S, ARE HANDLING THEIR FINANCES CAREFULLY AND RESPONSIBLY.  THAT'S ACCORDING TO A NEW STUDY BY "SALLIE MAE" AND "IPSOS"--CALLED "MAJORING IN MONEY: HOW AMERICAN COLLEGE-STUDENTS MANAGE THEIR FINANCES".  THE STUDY FINDS THAT STUDENTS ARE ACTUALLY TAKING THE RIGHT MONEY-MANAGEMENT STEPS:  MORE THAN THREE-FOURTHS PAY BILLS ON TIME--WHILE MORE THAN HALF ARE SAVING AT LEAST SOME MONEY, EVERY MONTH.  AT THE SAME TIME, STUDENTS ARE EAGER TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SAVINGS AND BUDGETING.  THEY'RE ALSO USING CREDIT-CARDS RESPONSIBLY:  WHILE MOST STILL RELY ON DEBIT-CARDS, CASH, AND NOW MOBILE-PAYMENTS, MORE THAN HALF HAVE A CREDIT-CARD.  WHAT'S MORE, THE MAJORITY SAY THAT THE REASON FOR GETTING THAT CARD WAS TO BUILD CREDIT.  AND, THEY PAY THE BALANCE, IN FULL, EACH MONTH.  FOR THE COMPLETE REPORT, AND MORE INFORMATION, VISIT "SALLIE-MAE"-DOT-COM-SLASH-"MAJORING-IN-MONEY".
