PARENTS OF TEEN-DRIVERS BELIEVE THAT TEENS ARE OBEYING "THE LETTER OF THE LAW", WHEN IT COMES TO GRADUATED-DRIVING LICENSING-LAWS.  BUT, WHAT PARENTS THINK--AND WHAT TEENS REPORT ACTUALLY DOING--DON'T MATCH UP, ACCORDING TO A NEW SURVEY BY "STATE FARM".  NIGHTTIME- AND PASSENGER-RESTRICTIONS ARE EFFECTIVE TOOLS, IN REDUCING THE CRASH-RISK OF TEEN-DRIVERS.  HOWEVER, WHILE ABOUT 70-PERCENT OF PARENTS BELIEVE THAT THEIR TEEN ALMOST ALWAYS OBEYS THESE RULES, LESS THAN HALF OF TEENS ADMIT TO ALMOST ALWAYS FOLLOWING THESE RESTRICTIONS.  WHILE IT'S CONCERNING, IN THIS SURVEY, THAT PARENTS MAY BE UNAWARE OF THEIR TEEN'S BEHAVIORS BEHIND THE WHEEL, THE RESEARCH SHOWS THAT PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT AND SUPPORT IS STILL KEY TO KEEPING TEEN-DRIVERS SAFE ON THE ROAD. SO, "STATE FARM" HAS A WEBSITE THAT PROVIDES PARENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE INVOLVED; LEARN MORE AT "CELEBRATE-MY-DRIVE"-DOT-COM.
