AS THE NATION CONTINUES TO BATTLE A PANDEMIC, ADVOCATES FOR SENIORS IN TENNESSEE SAY THAT BOTH THE HEALTH AND THE FINANCIAL SECURITY OF VOTERS OVER 50 ARE ON THE LINE.
THAT'S WHY REBECCA KELLY--THE STATE-DIRECTOR OF "A-A-R-P
TENNESSEE"--WANTS VOTERS TO KNOW ABOUT ALL OF THEIR OPTIONS, FOR SAFELY CASTING THEIR BALLOT...
(KELLY):
"THIS YEAR'S GENERAL ELECTION IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT OF OUR LIFETIMES.
AND, 'A-A-R-P TENNESSEE' HAS BEEN WORKING TO MAKE SURE THAT PEOPLE, ACROSS THE STATE, KNOW HOW THEY CAN VOTE SAFELY.
ALL TENNESSEANS WHO QUALIFY TO VOTE BY MAIL--INCLUDING THOSE OVER 60, AND THOSE WITH UNDERLYING
HEALTH-CONDITIONS--MUST REQUEST THEIR BALLOT BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27TH.
FOR VOTERS WHO ARE COMFORTABLE WITH CASTING THEIR BALLOT IN-PERSON, EARLY VOTING RUNS FROM WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, THROUGH THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29TH.
AND, OF COURSE, THEY CAN VOTE AT THEIR LOCAL POLLING-LOCATION ON ELECTION DAY.
NO MATTER HOW TENNESSEANS CHOOSE TO VOTE, THEY SHOULD MAKE A PLAN--TO ENSURE THAT THEIR VOICE IS HEARD."
