(OPEN):
BECAUSE SO MUCH HAS CHANGED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, "A-A-R-P PENNSYLVANIA" IS WORKING TO ENSURE THAT VOTERS KNOW ALL OF THEIR OPTIONS, FOR SAFELY CASTING THEIR BALLOT.  JOANNE GROSSI [AS IN "ROSSI"] IS THE GROUP'S STATE-PRESIDENT...

(GROSSI):
"
IN A RECENT POLL, WE FOUND THAT A THIRD OF PENNSYLVANIA'S OLDER VOTERS INTEND TO CAST THEIR BALLOT BY MAIL.  AND, ALL VOTERS WHO USE AN ABSENTEE OR MAIL-IN BALLOT MUST FOLLOW PENNSYLVANIA'S TWO-STEP ENVELOPE-PROCESS:  IF YOU WANT YOUR VOTE TO ACTUALLY COUNT, YOU MUST USE THE INNER SECRECY-ENVELOPE--AND THE OUTER, POSTAGE-PAID RETURN-ENVELOPE.  IF YOU FORGET THE SECRECY-ENVELOPE, YOUR BALLOT WILL BE DEEMED A 'NAKED BALLOT'--AND WON'T BE COUNTED.  ALSO, PENNSYLVANIANS WHO WANT TO VOTE IN-PERSON CAN DO SO SAFELY, BY FOLLOWING THE 'C-D-C'-GUIDELINES--INCLUDING WEARING A MASK, AND STAYING PHYSICALLY DISTANT FROM OTHERS."

(CLOSE):
MORE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE ON PENNSYLVANIA'S OFFICIAL ELECTION-WEBSITE--AT "VOTES-P-A"-DOT-COM.
