ABSENTEE VOTING IN MISSISSIPPI IS RESERVED FOR THOSE IN SPECIFIC CATEGORIES; THESE INCLUDE ALL VOTERS WHO ARE 65 OR OLDER, AS WELL AS THOSE WHO CAN CITE HEALTH- OR WORK-DEMANDS, TEMPORARY RELOCATION FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, OR SERVICE IN THE ARMED FORCES.  VOTERS CAN ALSO CAST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IF THEY HAVE A DISABILITY THAT WOULD PROHIBIT THEM FROM GOING TO THE POLLS--WHICH, THIS YEAR, INCLUDES VOTERS WHO ARE UNDER A PHYSICIAN-IMPOSED QUARANTINE, OR ARE CARING FOR A DEPENDENT WHO'S UNDER QUARANTINE.  VOTERS CAN FILL OUT AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IN THEIR COUNTY CIRCUIT-CLERK'S OFFICE, DURING REGULAR BUSINESS-HOURS.  THERE'S ALSO A CURBSIDE-OPTION FOR ABSENTEE VOTING--AS WELL AS A CURBSIDE-OPTION FOR IN-PERSON VOTING ON ELECTION DAY, FOR PEOPLE WHO MAY HAVE MOBILITY-ISSUES.  THE DEADLINE FOR IN-PERSON ABSENTEE-VOTING IS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST."
