ONE THE BIGGEST QUESTIONS FACING THE RECREATIONAL-BOATING INDUSTRY TODAY INVOLVES HIGHER MANDATES FOR ETHANOL--WHICH COULD MEAN PROBLEMS FOR MANY BOATERS, THIS SUMMER.  THE "NATIONAL MARINE-MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION" SAYS THAT THE "E-P-A" MAY FORCE HIGHER AMOUNTS OF CORROSIVE ETHANOL INTO YOUR FUEL-TANK--WHICH COULD WREAK HAVOC ON YOUR BOATING-PLANS.   IT EXPLAINS THAT HIGHER ETHANOL DAMAGES MARINE-ENGINES AND -FUEL-SYSTEMS--AND COULD LEAVE YOU WITH HIGH REPAIR-BILLS THAT AREN'T COVERED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY.  WORSE, IT COULD EVEN LEAVE YOU STRANDED AT SEA.  THE ASSOCIATION WANTS TO PREVENT PROBLEMS FOR ALL BOATERS--AND TO HELP THEM ENJOY THEIR TIME ON THE WATER, THIS SUMMER.  THIS INVOLVES LETTING THEM CHOOSE WHICH FUEL THEY WANT TO USE--NOT THE GOVERNMENT.  THE ASSOCIATION CALLS ON LAWMAKERS TO REPEAL LAWS THAT MANDATE ETHANOL, UNDER THE "RENEWABLE-FUEL STANDARD"--AND TO ENACT POLICIES THAT PROTECT BOTH CONSUMERS AND THE ENVIRONMENT.  TO LEARN MORE, VISIT "FILL-UP-ON-FACTS"-DOT-COM.
